The cost of your Pick and Pack service is determined by the time taken to perform the required operation. In cases where no data is available, an estimate will be provided and the cost refined where the actual time is known. The refined quote can be time and motion audited by you the customer to ensure you are happy with it.

Most customers require a fixed cost for the operation that can be used for budget purposes. So when the task time is known and the other costs are added in (packaging consumed, waste, documentation) a fixed price that may be subject to a contract is negotiated. This may be per item, per order, per consignment or per month and vary depending on the level of activity.

Pick and Pack customers can hire a complete bay or section of a warehouse or store by pallet or by SKU for a contract period and set both storage and service budgets for one to two year periods. The objective is for you to be content that the price is right for the effort and that there are no hidden surprises. If you absolutely need a ball-park figure, multiple order picks rarely cost more than £4.50 and singles SKUs less than £0.90 but it really does hang on what has to be done.
